The artic hare is a medium-sized mammal found in the arctic tundra of North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the only hare species that lives in the Arctic circle and is best adapted to the cold temperatures and snow of the far North. The artic hare has a thick, white coat which allows it to blend in with its snowy surroundings, making it difficult to spot.

The artic hare stands around 10-12 inches tall and has a body length of 17-20 inches. Its thick fur helps to keep it warm in the cold climate, and its large hind legs make it an excellent jumper.
