The CollectA  Brontosaurus model was rated as the most technically accurate Brontosaurus model on the market in 2022. A main factor was the correctly pointed tail and foot pads.

The CollectA  Brontosaurus Measures 11.8" L x 3.2" H.

CollectA Brontosaurus #88825 Review:

This was rated by our in-house paleontologist as the most accurate Brontosaurus figure on the market. The tail is thin and correctly tapers to a nice point. The scale pattern is realistic and accurate. The foot pads are some of the most accurately shaped - replicating the known fossilized foot prints. Mild inaccuracties include the osteoderms on the side (not proven) and the neuro-spines on the back and on the tail. In spite ok the inaccuracies, this overall was the most accurate model available.

    Small Brontosaurus

Posted by Elijah GW on 16th Jul 2025

CollectA labeled this as a Brontosaurus, but it's so small. When standing next to other dino toys like the Safari Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, and Allosaurus, it seems like an adolescent or a smaller species like Kaatedocus. It doesn't scale well with 1:35 figures as an adult Brontosaurus. Also, Brontosaurus is an all-around thicker-built animal, like Apatosaurus. However, this "Brontosaurus" is rather lean like Diplodocus. This is a rather good-looking figure, though I have a hard time seeing it as a Brontosaurus. Nonetheless, I still like it and it makes a wonderful juvenile or smaller species of Diplodocid.

I got my Brontosaurus last month in September, and it is truly great. Rather or not Brontosaurus truly existed, it's still an incredible dinosaur.?
