Shipping Information

As noted on the National News programs (e.g. CBS), the US Postal Service struggled to keep up with Holiday Demand. Happy Hen Toys, shipped all orders received before our cutoff dates and delivered the packages to the shippers in time for them to meet their service standards to delivery the packages before Christmas.

Although these packages were shipped by Happy Hen Toys on time, it does appear as if some packages are still in transit.

We talked to our local postal station and unfortunately, all USPS says we can do is wait while they clear their backlog.
There is nothing we can do to influence the transit of the packages already in transit..

When your order is shipped, our system automatically sends the tracking information (carrier and tracking number) to the email address provided with the order. Please use this information to track you order. There is no information what we have that is not available to you with your tracking number. Check your SPAM folder if you do not get a shipping confirmation within 3 business days.

We did our best with high demand and staffing shortages / work precautions and appreciate your understanding as we did our best to provide you a happy holiday during this troubled time. Lower 48 United States Shipping

Ground shipping is FREE on orders over $149 in the lower 48 United States.



We had not increased even our base shipping for several years (we absorbed the ever increasing costs). Both USPS and UPS are implementing package surcharges in the latter part of 2020. Every package will thus be more expensive than normal to ship. Shipping and handling on orders less than $149 in the lower 48 United States is as follows:

Orders $00.00 to $14.99 = $7.99
Orders $15.00 to $34.99 = $9.99
Orders $35.00 to $74.99 = $10.99
Orders $75.00 to $99.99 = $11.99
Orders $100.00 to $124.99 = $13.99
Orders $125.00 to $148.99 = $14.99
Orders $149 and up = FREE

Happy Hen Toys primarily uses USPS to ship your order but at times (at its sole discretion) does use UPS. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

We ship fast. Orders typically ship the same or next business day. Express shipping (2-3 business days) is available for an extra charge (calculated at the time of checkout). The day you place your order is not included in the 2-3 business day estimate.

Unfortunately, we do not control a package once it leaves our warehouse. Happy Hen Toys, Ltd. is NOT responsible for any delivery delays caused by the carrier / weather. In the event of a delayed or miss-delivered package, your sole remedy is to return the package for a refund in accordance with our return policies.

Alaska, Hawaii Shipping

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is available, but is NOT eligible for Free shipping, nor do the regular ground rates apply. Shipping to AK and HI is very expensive. The charges to ship your order will be displayed at the time of checkout. If you are not happy with the shipping charges - DO NOT place the order - there will be no adjustments to the shipping rates after the order has shipped.

Happy Hen Toys accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal. Personal checks are also accepted, but your order will be held pending bank clearance. If you wish to pay by check please email us at service@HappyHenToys.com for instructions.

We also accept PayPal as a form of payment. PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an email address securely send online payments using a credit card, a debit card or a bank account.

Canceling / Changing an Order

Orders can be canceled or changed anytime PRIOR to shipping. Please email us at service@HappyHenToys.com or call us at 317-800-5853. If the order has already shipped, you may return your order by following the return / exchange instructions. You will be responsible for shipping and return shipping. We ship quickly, so contact us as soon as possible with any changes.

Gift Wrapping

GIFT WRAPPING SERVICE SUSPENDED FOR REMAINDER OF 2020

Gift wrapping is available for $15.00 PER ITEM. Each item is wrapped separately, the gift wrapping is per item. Certain oversized items cannot be wrapped - those are noted in the product information.

To the extent a gift wrapped item is returned, the gift wrapping charge is not refundable. Gift wrapping cannot be cancelled after the order has been submitted / wrapped.

Incorrect Orders

In the highly unlikely event that you received the wrong merchandise, or you believe that your order is incomplete, please contact service@HappyHenToys.com and we will work with you to quickly fix the problem. Order errors / discrepancies must be reported within 10 days of receipt of the order. Any issues will be resolved using ground shipping service. Happy Hen Toys reserves the right to correct any pricing errors.

Exchanges

Happy Hen Toys does not accept exchange requests. These may be placed as a new order. Return procedures below must be followed for the unwanted items.

Returns (Domestic US)

Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of sale for items returned in new, UNused, UNopened, resalable condition in its original sealed package. Please send an email to service@HappyHenToys.com to receive an authorization to return merchandise. Returned packages without a valid return authorization number will be refused.

Unfortunately however, shipping and handling charges are not refundable and you will be additionally responsible for any other shipping or return shipping charges and fees that may apply. If you originally qualified for free shipping and your return puts your order total below the free shipping amount, you will also be responsible for the original order shipping charge within our shipping guidelines shown above. If your order originally qualified for free shipping, and your entire order is returned, you will be responsible for our entire original shipping cost. Shipping charges on returned oversized items are also not refundable regardless of your remaining order value.

No credit will be issued for any returns that have been opened. DVDs may not be returned after opened.

Packages returned for invalid addresses are considered returns and return policies apply. Any return shipping charges / shipper fees will be deducted from the refund.

Any returns not meeting the above conditions or refused by the receiver will be subject to a 35% restocking fee in addition to any original / return shipping fees.

In the event of a delayed or mis-delivered package, your sole remedy is to return the package for a refund.

Damaged Packages

If the package shows signs of external damage or if something is damaged inside the package, notify us at service@HappyHenToys.com within 5 days of receipt. You must retain ALL packaging including the original shipping carton. We will work with the shipper to resolve the issue.

Please note that we use high quality shipping boxes that are rated to withstand weight limits greatly in excess of your order weight. Unless something drastic happens while in the possession of UPS, this shouldn't happen.

Defective Items

In the RARE case that a factory sealed item is damaged, we will work with you to resolve the issue. The majority of the products sold on our site are warranted directly by their manufacturers. In many cases, the fastest way to resolve a product issue is to contact the manufacturer directly. Any issues will be resolved using ground shipping service. For any defective item issues to be rectified, we must be notified within 3 days of receiving your items. Anything outside of 3 days cannot be guaranteed to have been received as defective.

Happy Hen Toys, Ltd. no longer ships outside the USA. Happy Hen Toys, Ltd no longer ships to APOs, FPOs, or US Territories. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will ship orders to the freight forwarder of your choice. Happy Hen Toys, Ltd. responsibility for the shipment would end once it reaches your freight forwarder.

Monthly Subscription Boxes:

Join our monthly subscription box service to receive a great gift box of items every month. Cancel at any time.

How it works:

1) Add the monthly subscription box to your order. You can order just the subscription box, or you can include it on a larger order.

2) Monthly shipping of the subscription box is included in the monthly price.

3) If the subscription box is added to a larger order, the subscription box does not count towards free shipping (as the subscription box ships separately each month)

4) You must pay for your subscription box order with a credit card (for repeat billing)

5) After your first month, your credit card will be charged on the first business day of the month. The subscription box will ship shortly after.

6) If you place your initial subscription box order before the 19th of the current month, we will send you that current months subscription box. You will receive your second box shortly after the first of the following month. If you place your initial subscription box order after the 19th of the current month, the following months box will be your first subscription box.

7) You can cancel or suspend / restart your subscription at any time. Email us at service@HappyHenToys.com to suspend, restart, or cancel your monthly subscription.

8) Sales tax (if applicable to your state) is extra.

Our storefront, website and shopping cart functionality is provided by Yahoo Merchant Solutions. We specifically selected Yahoo Merchant Solutions due to our perception of their reliability and security relative to other shopping cart providers. Yahoo Merchant Solutions was not the cheapest shopping cart solution available, but we selected them as we believe that their security would be better than the smaller / cheaper providers that do not have the same level of resources devoted to security as Yahoo!
