3+ Years

Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The Safari Ltd. Macrauchenia figure highlights the animal's slender legs, elongated neck, and distinctive short trunk, capturing the essence of a creature that once roamed the ancient landscapes.
The best feature on this figure is the snout - which reminds me of the modern-day anteater.
The coloring on this figure is a nice tan / brown with a white underbelly, and black accents on the snout and legs - and a little -peek-a-boo black on the tail. This is a great example of this prehistoric creature.
The Safari Ltd. Macrauchenia figure measrues approx: 5" L x 1.4" W x 3.5" H.
Macrauchenia, whose name means "long llama," was a remarkable genus of hoofed mammals that lived in South America during the Late Miocene to the end of the Pleistocene epoch, approximately 7 million to 10,000 years ago. Macrauchenia was part of a unique group of mammals that evolved in isolation on the South American continent. These animals were characterized by their long necks, sturdy legs, and a peculiar nasal opening located on the top of their skulls, suggesting the presence of a short trunk or a flexible, moose-like snout.
Hand Painted. Made of durable Non-toxic and BPA free material.
