Liopleurodon, meaning "smooth-sided teeth," was a large marine reptile belonging to the Pliosauridae family, known for its formidable size and powerful jaws.

It had a huge head with interlocking teeth and nostrils capable of sensing prey many miles away.

Liopleurodon is believed to have been one of the largest and most dominant predators of its time, with estimates suggesting that it could grow up to 20 meters in length. Its massive size, combined with its formidable hunting capabilities, made it a formidable force in the marine ecosystem, preying on a variety of marine animals, including fish, squid, and other marine reptiles.
