Daedon is an extinct pig-like omnivore that roamed North America. Often colloquially known as "hell pigs" or "terminator pigs," these creatures were among the largest entelodonts, with an estimated height of around 6 feet at the shoulder and a length of about 12 feet.
One of the most distinctive features of Daedon is its massive head, which could measure over 3 feet in length. The skull of the Daedon was equipped with large, robust jaws and prominent tusks, which were likely used for both defense and foraging. These tusks, along with strong, sharp teeth, suggest that Daedon was an omnivore with a diet that included plants, carrion, and possibly even small to medium-sized animals.
