CollectA Kronosaurus Review:

The highlight of this model is its moveable jaw, allowing you to recreate the fearsome feeding action of the Kronosaurus. The jaw opens wide, revealing a menacing array of teeth that are individually sculpted and painted, capturing the essence of this apex predator.

The deep brown coloring of the Kronosaurus is well applied and blends to countershading on the belly which adds a touch of realism

The proportional flippers of the CollectA Kronosaurus adhere to the fossil records, ensuring a scientifically accurate depiction as does the flat and vertically oriented tail.

Kronosaurus Information:

Kronosaurus, a prehistoric marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous period, is an awe-inspiring creature that roamed the ancient oceans. Belonging to the group of marine reptiles known as pliosaurs, Kronosaurus was a formidable predator, showcasing a range of adaptations that made it a fearsome hunter.

One of the defining features of Kronosaurus was its enormous size. Estimates suggest that it reached lengths of up to 30 feet, making it one of the largest pliosaurs ever known. Its massive skull alone could measure over 8 feet in length, housing an array of sharp teeth designed for capturing and crushing its prey.

Kronosaurus possessed a streamlined body and powerful flippers, indicating its proficiency as a marine predator. With its robust physique, it was well-suited for swift swimming and maneuvering through the water. This allowed Kronosaurus to pursue a diverse diet, including fish, cephalopods, and even other marine reptiles.

The anatomy of Kronosaurus also included a long, flexible neck, which provided it with enhanced mobility and the ability to strike at prey from various angles. Its efficient swimming and formidable bite force made it a dominant predator in its aquatic habitat.
