Mosasaurus Deluxe (CollectA)

The CollectA Mosasaurus Deluxe features an articulated jaw. While not as scary as some other models on the market is quite realistic. The hide has a nice crosshatch texture throught. Dark dorsal stipes follow the horizontal lines of the body. Sharp, finely detailed teeth line the wellmade jaws of this figure.

Mosasaurus was a powerful predator and is often referred to as the "Tyrannosaurus rex of the sea" due to its large size and ferocious nature, 49 ft long!

Mosasaurus is an extinct genus of aquatic reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 82 to 66 million years ago. It was a large marine reptile belonging to the family Mosasauridae, which also includes other well-known species such as Tylosaurus and Platecarpus.

Mosasaurus was a powerful predator and is often referred to as the "Tyrannosaurus rex of the sea" due to its large size and ferocious nature. It had a streamlined body, a long tail, and powerful flippers, which allowed it to navigate through the water with agility. It could grow to lengths of up to 15 meters (49 feet) and weigh several metric tons.

One of the distinguishing features of Mosasaurus was its elongated jaws filled with sharp, conical teeth. It had a flexible skull and a hinged jaw that enabled it to swallow prey whole. Mosasaurus likely fed on a variety of marine creatures, including fish, squid, smaller marine reptiles, and even other mosasaurs.
