Overall a nice shaped model from EoFauna. Highlight of the model is the head and especially the tusks. You can almost hear this model roar!

EoFauna Deinotherium measures: 8" L x 5" T.

EoFauna Deinotherium Review:

The highlight of this model is the head and tusks. The tusks measure .75 inches long, are close together and have a nice curve. They project well from the lower jaw. Mouth is open and trunk is raised and curved. One can image this figure roaring. Body is a nice forma and is in a slight walking pose. Body has some texture to it and is relatively smooth. Color is fairly uniform over the entire model. There are not many deinotherium models available - this is a good model and would good in your dinosaur collection.

    I have been collecting dinosaur figures for years and along the way I have included prehistoric mammals. When you see how mammals have evolved through thousands of years you have to be impressed. Notably the ancestors of elephants are a magnificent example of evolution. The Deinotherium is an impressive creature to behold. The texture of the skin and muscles are very impressive.. Outstanding job by Eofauna. A+++

    I got my Deinotherium today with the Giganotosaurus, and it is amazingly detailed. I think of all the ancient Proboscideans, Deinotherium is perhaps the most bizarre, and fearsome-looking. With that relatively short trunk, and those downward-curved fang-like tusks on it's chin. And crazy to think that our early ape-like ancestors lived alongside them in Pliocene Africa some 3 million years ago.
