The Haolonggood Edmontosaurus - Xiao Rang measures approximately: 10.6" L x 1.7" W x 3.1" H.
The Haolonggood Edmontosaurus - Xiao Rang is an attractive hadrosaur figure that captures the bulk and distinctive features of one of North America’s best-known duck-billed dinosaurs. The sculpt presents the animal in a natural quadrupedal pose, giving the model a grounded and realistic display presence.
Fine texturing across the body creates convincing skin detail, while the muscular limbs and carefully sculpted tail add to the figure’s lifelike appearance. The head sculpt is especially notable, featuring the broad duck-billed snout and a subtle fleshy comb that references one of the more debated soft-tissue features associated with Edmontosaurus.
The brownish-green paint scheme is earthy and realistic, with enough tonal variation to bring out the sculpted details without appearing overly flashy. Overall, this is a well-balanced and visually appealing model that should fit nicely into most dinosaur collections.
Edmontosaurus was a large herbivorous hadrosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period approximately 73 to 66 million years ago in what is now North America. It was one of the largest ornithopods, reaching lengths of up to 40 feet.
Known for its broad duck-billed snout, Edmontosaurus used hundreds of tightly packed teeth to grind tough plant material. Fossilized skin impressions and rare preserved soft tissue from so-called “dinosaur mummy” specimens have provided scientists with valuable insight into the appearance of this famous hadrosaur.
There remains scientific debate regarding whether Edmontosaurus possessed a fleshy comb or crest on its head, with some fossil evidence suggesting that at least certain individuals may have had soft-tissue display structures.
