Haolonggood Sarcosuchus imperator measures: 9.6" L x 4.1" W x 1.8" H.
The Haolonggood Sarcosuchus imperator (Tong Wei version) is an outstanding recreation of one of the largest crocodile-like reptiles to ever exist. The figure features a long, heavily armored body with realistic scale and osteoderm textures running from the neck to the tail.
The elongated snout is carefully sculpted with individually defined teeth and a distinctive expanded tip, accurately reflecting the fossil evidence of this giant predator. The jaw opens and closes for additonal awesomeness! The powerful limbs and sweeping tail create a natural low stalking pose, as if the animal is silently gliding through ancient rivers in search of prey.
The paint application uses earthy greens and browns with lighter highlights along the underside, helping emphasize the sculpted details while giving the model a lifelike display presence. Overall, this figure offers an excellent combination of realism, scientific inspiration, and collector appeal.
Sarcosuchus imperator was a gigantic crocodile-like reptile that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 112 million years ago, in what is now Africa. Often nicknamed “SuperCroc,” it is considered one of the largest crocodyliforms ever discovered.
Unlike modern crocodiles, Sarcosuchus had a long, narrow snout filled with conical teeth designed for grabbing fish and other prey. Scientists believe it likely hunted aquatic animals and may have ambushed dinosaurs that came too close to the water’s edge.
Fossils of Sarcosuchus have been discovered in the Sahara Desert, an area that was once filled with rivers and lush floodplains. Its massive armored body and powerful jaws made it one of the dominant predators of its prehistoric environment.
