Mojo Giant Sable Antelope #387145 Review:One of the standout features of this figure is the texture of the entire body. The texture is very nice, especially on the mane which is slightly standing up, giving it a realistic appearance.
The figure also features the Giant Sable Antelope's most noticeable feature, the curled horns, which have nice ridges and two-tone paint (brown and black with grey underside). The horns are a defining characteristic of the animal and Mojo has done an excellent job of making them look realistic and well-formed.
The face of the figure is also well-painted, with nice shading and details that add to its realistic appearance. The dark brown coat and white markings on the face are a good match for the Giant Sable Antelope's natural coloring.
Giant Sable Antelope Information:The giant sable antelope, also known as the royal antelope or the black sable, is a critically endangered species of antelope native to Angola in southern Africa. These majestic creatures are known for their distinctive black coat with white markings, and for the impressive curved horns that are present only in males.
The giant sable antelope is considered to be one of the most endangered antelope species in the world, with estimates placing the current population at less than 200 individuals. This is due to a combination of factors, including habitat loss, hunting, and civil unrest in Angola.
Giant sable antelopes are herbivores, feeding on a variety of grasses, leaves, and other vegetation. They are typically found in savannah and woodland habitats, where they form small groups led by a dominant male. These groups may occasionally merge with others, forming larger herds during the wet season.
