This is the original Allosaurus figure from Mojo, and despite the release of a newer version, it remains a strong option for collectors. The sculpt is slightly different from the newer model, offering an alternative look while maintaining solid overall quality.
This version does not have an articulated jaw, but it makes up for that with an appealing paint scheme. The mixed color tones are well applied and, in our opinion, slightly more attractive than the newer version. The figure also stands a bit taller and features a nicely shaped head sculpt.
Both Mojo Allosaurus figures were selected as best value options in 2022, making this an excellent choice for those looking for quality at a reasonable price.

Allosaurus Toy Buying Guide
Allosaurus means “different lizard” and was a large carnivorous dinosaur that walked on its hind legs. It had a massive skull with sharp, serrated teeth and a long, muscular tail used for balance.
Allosaurus was a typical large theropod, with short forelimbs and powerful hind legs. The best-known species, Allosaurus fragilis, averaged about 28 feet in length, with some specimens reaching over 30 feet.
