Overall PNSO has brought us a African Elephant figure. There aren't many large figures that capture so much of the living detail of the living animal.

At the top of my praise is the beautiful body sculpt of this model, especially the highly detailed head. The foundation of this model is the amazing attention paid to the every bump and wrinkle of the hide. In particular the trunk and ears levitate this model.
Where it fall short is the paint application. In some places the paint appears hastily applied. Leaving area with excess that has dried oddly. While small, under close scrutiny they become easily observable. My biggest complaint being the lazily painted toenails of the animal. The eyes , being painted well are an exception to that. A large figure, that is hollow and surprisingly light weight may seem low quality to some. This doesn't retract from the figure in this case, because overall, it is an attractive reproduction of an awe inspiring animal.
