Safari Ltd. Majungasaurus Review:
The best part of this figure is the vibrant red stripes and eyes paint. Nice hide detail. Running pose is nice. Sculpt of the head is relatively well done with good eyes. Teeth are nubby and undersized. Short stubby arms and large supportive feet.
Majungasaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago, in what is now Madagascar. It was a bipedal carnivore that could grow up to 8 meters in length and weigh up to 1,100 kg.
Majungasaurus is known for its distinctive skull, which is broad and heavily built, with numerous bumps and ridges. The skull was likely used in combat with other Majungasaurus individuals, as evidenced by the discovery of skull fragments with bite marks that match the shape of other Majungasaurus teeth.
The discovery of Majungasaurus has been important for understanding the evolution of dinosaurs in Madagascar, which was an isolated landmass during the Late Cretaceous period. It is one of the most complete dinosaur skeletons ever found in Madagascar, and has provided valuable insights into the behavior and anatomy of these unique creatures.
