Our favorite features of this figure are its beautifully sculpted flowing mane and tail, which create a dynamic appearance even while standing still. Aside from the facial markings and hooves, the stallion is almost entirely black, giving it a bold and elegant look.
While additional paint detailing would have been welcome, this remains an excellent horse model and was one of the top 10 best-selling Schleich horses in 2021.
The Pura Raza Espanola (PRE), also known as the Pure Spanish Horse, is an elegant breed known for its arched neck, noble head, long flowing mane, and luxurious tail. Although often mistaken for the Andalusian, the PRE is maintained as a distinct breeding line with carefully regulated stud books.
