The Schleich Giant Panda is a beautifully crafted figure that captures the gentle charm of this beloved species. With its classic black-and-white coloration and textured fur detailing, the model has a lifelike presence and a friendly expression that invites interaction. The sculpt showcases the panda in a walking pose, with carefully sculpted paws and natural body proportions. Like all Schleich animals, it’s hand-painted with great attention to realism and durability. Whether used for play or as part of a wildlife display, this panda is a must-have for animal enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Native to the mountainous regions of central China, the giant panda is one of the world's most iconic and endangered animals. Recognized by its distinctive black-and-white coat, the panda feeds almost exclusively on bamboo and spends much of its day eating. While once critically endangered, conservation efforts and habitat preservation have helped increase panda populations in recent years. As a symbol of wildlife conservation, the giant panda plays a major role in environmental awareness around the globe.
With its striking black and white fur, and black circles around its eyes, the giant panda looks just like a cuddly toy. But today it doesn't have time to cuddle. The bear, which can weigh up to 350 pounts, has to make sure it gets enough food. Because it eats almost nothing but bamboo, and the plant is not particularly nutritious, it has to keep eating for up to 16 hours a day! No wonder it has no time to play; it has to digest up to 90 pounds of bamboo! And that takes time.
