Blue color base with tan highlights is most unique feature of this Baryonyx. Pink eye is extremely unique. Moveable jaw opens and closes. Nice rubber texture.

Voted in the top 3 Baryonyx in 2022. The coloring on this figure really stands out with the dark blue base with tan highlights. Jaw opens and closes with a good range of motion. Inside of mouth is pink - which matches the eye color. Pink eye is very unique - we cannot think of any other dinosaur figure with a pink eye While some of the other figures are slick, this figure has a nice rubber feel to it. Would be good for a childs grip. Stable figure - no tipping problems. Good looking figure from Schleich.

Baryonyx is a genus of theropod dinosaur which lived in the Barremian stage of the Early Cretaceous period, about 130-125 million years ago. Baryonyx means "heavy claw" and refers to the animal's very large claw on the first finger. fully grown, was estimated to have been between 25 and 33 feet long and to have weighed between 1.2 and 1.7 tons. Baryonyx is estimated to have been between 7.5 and 10 m (25 and 33 ft) long, 2.5 m (8.2 ft) in hip height, and to have weighed between 1.2 and 1.9 tons.
