These predators use their unique head shape to their advantage, improving their ability to locate and capture prey.
Hammerhead sharks are known to feed on a variety of marine animals, including fish, squid, crustaceans, and even other sharks. In some cases, they have been known to be cannibalistic, consuming members of their own species if necessary. Despite their fearsome reputation, hammerheads are not considered a significant threat to humans, and most encounters with humans are due to incidental contact rather than intentional attacks.
