Beishanlong, meaning "Beishan dragon," was a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 125 million years ago in what is now China. Belonging to the group of dinosaurs known as therizinosaurids, Beishanlong was characterized by its long neck, large claws, and bird-like features, which set it apart from other theropods of its time. Despite its theropod classification, Beishanlong is believed to have been an herbivore, using its distinctive claws to grasp and manipulate vegetation.
