The textured skin and subtle hair detailing, combined with realistic paintwork, create a lifelike and visually striking figure.

Columbian Mammoth Information:

The Columbian mammoth (Mammuthus columbi) was one of the largest mammoth species, reaching up to 13 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing as much as 10 tons. It lived across North America during the Pleistocene epoch, favoring grasslands and open woodlands.

Unlike the woolly mammoth, which adapted to colder climates, the Columbian mammoth lived in warmer regions and had a lighter coat of hair. These herbivores fed on grasses, shrubs, and trees, using their long tusks to gather food and strip vegetation. They lived alongside early humans, who likely hunted them, contributing to their extinction around 10,000 years ago.

This species was endemic to North America. Recent DNA research suggests the Columbian mammoth resulted from hybridization between the steppe mammoth and the woolly mammoth.

    Amazing Columbian Mammoth

Posted by Brannon Vega on 14th Oct 2026

I got my EoFauna Columbian Mammoth figure today with the Ankylosaurus, and it is amazing. Great edition for Mammoth fans, and one of my favorite mega mammals as I live in North Carolina where these Ice Age giants once roamed, and larger and less hairy than their woolly cousins. And impressive tusks on the figure.

Eofauna has done it again with their prehistoric figures. I really like the skin texture and those magnificent tusks are a great addition to this ancestor of the today's elephants. Thanks Eofauna.

    Columbian Mammoth

This is such an impressive figure! I love its curved tusks and the way its trunk is curled - I plan on sticking some grasses in his trunk to make it look like he’s eating. As always Happy Hen is my go to shop for getting my hands on these figures.
