Saurolophus Information:

Saurolophus, meaning "lizard crest," was a duck-billed herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period approximately 70 million years ago. Fossils have been discovered in both North America and Asia.

It is best known for the long crest projecting backward from its skull, which may have been used for display, sound production, or species recognition. Saurolophus likely lived in herds and fed on tough vegetation using its advanced dental battery.
