Step back into the Ice Age with the Haolonggood Coelodonta Antiquitatis - a Woolly Rhinoceros Model. This impressive figure captures the rugged power and shaggy appearance of the mighty Woolly Rhino.
Haolonggood Woolly Rhinoceros measures: 5.4" L x 1.5" W x 2.75" H
Approximately 1:35 Scale.
The Haolonggood Woolly Rhinoceros is an excellent representation of this Ice Age giant, featuring a stocky muscular build, thick shaggy coat, and the pair of large forward-curving horns characteristic of the species. The front horn appears oversized and looks ready to do some serious damage.
Fine fur texturing across the body creates a realistic “woolly” appearance, while subtle paint gradients and weathered horn detailing add depth and realism. The lowered head and forward-driving stance give the model a powerful, aggressive posture, as if ready to charge across the frozen tundra. Overall, this is one of the most visually striking Woolly Rhinoceros figures currently available.
The Woolly Rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis) was a large Ice Age herbivore that lived across Europe and northern Asia during the Pleistocene epoch. Closely related to modern rhinos, it was specially adapted for cold climates with thick fur, a stocky body, and shortened ears and tail to conserve heat.
Its enormous front horn may have been used to sweep snow away from vegetation, defend against predators, and compete with rivals. Woolly Rhinoceroses went extinct approximately 10,000 years ago near the end of the last Ice Age.
Hand Painted.
