Haolonggood Pachyrhinosaurus Lv Fang Product Review:

This Haolonggood Pachyrhinosaurus “Lv Fang” (#036) features updated colors. This is a standout ceratopsian model that blends realism with shelf appeal. The updated color scheme features layered greens and earthy browns, highlighted with subtle orange accents along the frill and body, giving the figure a natural yet visually engaging look. The coloration feels grounded rather than overly bright, which many collectors appreciate for display realism.

Sculpt quality is where this piece really shines. The signature nasal boss and broad frill are sharply defined, with intricate texturing that brings out the rugged, armored look of Pachyrhinosaurus. Fine skin detailing and carefully sculpted musculature give the model a lifelike presence, while the balanced, low stance conveys the animal’s heavy, powerful build. The figure fits well into 1:35 scale collections, making it easy to display alongside other Haolonggood releases.

Pachyrhinosaurus Dinosaur in Real Life:

Pachyrhinosaurus is a genus of herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 67 million years ago. These dinosaurs belonged to the family Ceratopsidae, which is known for its horned and frilled dinosaurs. Pachyrhinosaurus is particularly notable for its unique appearance and the bony structures on its head. Like other ceratopsids, Pachyrhinosaurus had a bony frill at the back of its skull. However, unlike some other ceratopsids like Triceratops, the frill of Pachyrhinosaurus lacked the large, prominent frill spikes.

Pachyrhinosaurus had a distinctive, thickened, and flattened nose horn that protruded from the front of its skull. This nasal horn gave the dinosaur its name, which means "thick-nosed lizard." Unlike many other ceratopsids, Pachyrhinosaurus did not have prominent brow horns above its eyes. Instead, it had relatively small, rounded bosses or bumps above its eyes. Pachyrhinosaurus was an herbivore, primarily feeding on plants such as ferns, cycads, and other vegetation that was abundant during the Late Cretaceous period.
