Wildebeest Information:

Wildebeest, also known as gnus, are large, grazing antelopes that are native to the grasslands and savannas of Africa. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with a muscular, barrel-shaped body, a shaggy mane, and curved horns. Wildebeest can weigh up to 600 pounds and stand up to 4.5 feet tall at the shoulder.

There are two species of wildebeest: the blue wildebeest and the black wildebeest. The blue wildebeest is the more common of the two and can be found in large herds in countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, and Botswana. The black wildebeest is smaller and less common, and is found primarily in South Africa.

Wildebeest are known for their annual migration, where they travel in enormous herds across the grasslands in search of food and water.
