Beetle - Stag (Papo)

The Papo Stag Beetle was a new figure in 2022. This is a male version - as denoted by its large mandibles. Mandibles are comparable to antlers on stag deer.

This is a fine example of a stag beetle. Light color variations on the body. Form looks scientifically accurate. Legs look delicate by are sturdier than expected.

Stag Beetle Information:

Male stag beetles use their large mandibles to wrestle each other to obtain the best mating sites. Mandibles can grow to be longer than the beetles body - so Stag Beetles typically fly everwhere as they have difficulty walking.
