The figure's deep, shiny black back with white highlights on the shoulders is a striking feature that makes it stand out on this (relatively) smaller figure.

The Safari Ltd. Manta Ray #277729 measures: 4.1 W x 3.5 L.

Safari Ltd. Manta Ray #277729 Review:

The Safari Ltd Manta Ray figure is the smallest of the manta ray figures available, but still packed with lots of great details.

The deep shiny black back with white highlights on the shoulders is a standout feature of this figure, which gives it a striking appearance. The nicely curved tail is also a great addition.

The underside of the figure is bright white and has standard gill grooves. The mouth is open, but the inside is flat white. Nice upward curve on the wingtips. Overall, this is a great little figure from Safari Ltd.

Manta Ray Information:

Manta rays are large, majestic creatures that inhabit the world's oceans. These gentle giants are known for their impressive size, with wingspans that can reach up to 23 feet (7 meters) across. Despite their size, manta rays are harmless to humans, as they feed mostly on plankton and small fish.

Manta rays are found in tropical and subtropical waters around the world, and are often seen near coral reefs. They are highly migratory, with some individuals traveling thousands of miles each year. Manta rays are also known for their acrobatic abilities, often leaping out of the water and performing aerial maneuvers.

Unfortunately, manta rays are under threat from human activities such as overfishing, pollution, and climate change. They are also targeted for their gill plates, which are used in traditional Chinese medicine despite having no proven medicinal value.
