Aragog was raised by Rubeus Hagrid after hatching from an egg and later established a colony of Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest near Hogwarts. Although feared by most wizards, Aragog remained loyal to Hagrid and provided valuable information that helped Harry Potter and Ron Weasley during their investigation of the Chamber of Secrets.
