The Schleich Moros Intrepidus measures: 7.7" L x 2.0" W x 3.5" H
The Moros Intrepidus runs like lightning through the jungle on two legs, always on the hunt. It digs its mighty clawed feet into the ground while opening and closing its huge jaws, creating an intimidating appearance that captures the fierce nature of this prehistoric predator.
Although much smaller than its famous relative Tyrannosaurus rex, this figure portrays Moros Intrepidus as a swift and determined hunter. The detailed sculpting, powerful stance, and realistic textures make it an excellent addition to any dinosaur collection.
Moros intrepidus was a small tyrannosauroid dinosaur that lived approximately 96 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous Period. Fossils were discovered in Utah's Cedar Mountain Formation, making it one of the earliest known relatives of later giant tyrannosaurs.
The discovery of Moros intrepidus has provided important insights into tyrannosaur evolution. Despite its relatively small size, it was likely a fast-moving predator. Scientists believe animals like Moros eventually gave rise to larger and more famous tyrannosaurs, including Tyrannosaurus rex millions of years later.
