Look at our product pictures for a better idea of the actual colors. Mostly gray (not silver) figure with a brownish-red underbelly. Teeth are not as individually defined as some other models. The nose is rounder than on some other figures, and the body has a nice curved pose with good tail texture. The face appears somewhat simple, but the overall sculpt is solid. Unlike some marine reptile figures, this model rests on its belly rather than balancing on its fins.

Tylosaurus was a giant marine reptile that lived during the Late Cretaceous period approximately 85 to 80 million years ago. Although often grouped with dinosaurs in toy collections, Tylosaurus was actually a mosasaur - a large marine reptile closely related to monitor lizards and snakes. It inhabited the shallow inland seas that once covered parts of North America.
With its long streamlined body, strong tail, and powerful jaws filled with sharp teeth, Tylosaurus was an apex predator capable of hunting fish, turtles, smaller marine reptiles, and other ocean animals. Paleontologists believe its rounded snout may have been used for ramming prey or rivals. Fossil discoveries show that Tylosaurus was one of the largest and most successful marine predators of its time.
