Concavenator was a relatively large dinosaur, reaching lengths of up to 6 meters (20 feet) and possessing a slender build typical of theropod dinosaurs. Its name, which means "hump-backed hunter," refers to the distinctive hump on its back, although its exact function remains a subject of scientific debate. Some researchers propose that the hump may have been used for display purposes, thermoregulation, or fat storage.
