Guizhouichthyosaurus was a large ichthyosaur that lived during the Late Triassic period, around 230 million years ago. Found in what is now China, this marine reptile could grow up to 6 meters (about 20 feet) long and had a long snout filled with sharp teeth for catching fish and squid. Unlike dinosaurs, ichthyosaurs were fully aquatic reptiles that gave birth to live young in the water.
