The most striking features of this model are the tiger-striped paint scheme and the fast running pose. The paint is cleanly applied and runs the full length of the body, making the figure visually pop.
The sculpt gives a real sense of motion. Because of the running stance, the included base is required for stability, but the raised front foot and trailing leg create a dynamic look.
The front arms are particularly well done—long and thin with detailed bends at the elbows and wrists leading to sharp talons. The head sculpt is strong, with a pronounced brow and forward-looking eye that gives the impression the raptor is actively hunting.
The jaw opens and closes, adding playability and display options. Comes attached to a small base plate.
Velociraptor Information:
Velociraptor was a small but agile carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. Despite its small size, it was a fast and effective predator, using speed, sharp claws, and intelligence to hunt prey.
Fossil evidence suggests that Velociraptor was feathered, giving it a closer connection to modern birds than early depictions suggested. Its sickle-shaped claw and lightweight build made it well suited for hunting small animals.
