There are very few Okapi CALF models to choose from. Even if there were more choices, this well developed model would likely be your choice. Model is very cute and the paint shading is well done. The bright white stripes on the legs and rump are well applied and really "pop" off the model. Consider adding this Calf to any Adult Okapi you purchase.

Okapi Information:
The Okapi is a small forest giraffe. The body shape is similar to that of the giraffe, except okapis have much shorter necks. Like the giraffe, the okapi has long legs and a robust body. Both species have very long (about 35-cm),flexible tongues used to strip leaves and buds from trees.
Also remarkable is the striped fur on its hindquarters, which resembles a zebra. Okapis live in a small area in the African rainforest and eat leaves, fruits, ferns and mushrooms.
