Mojo Walrus captures the power and character of this iconic Arctic marine mammal, complete with long tusks, heavy whiskers, and lifelike skin texture.
The Mojo Walrus measures: 5.1" L x 4.7" W x 1.57" H
The Mojo Walrus figure presents a convincing representation of this massive Arctic marine mammal. The sculpt emphasizes the walrus's thick, wrinkled hide, heavy body structure, and long curved tusks, all of which contribute to a realistic overall appearance. Fine texturing around the face and muzzle highlights the dense whiskers that are one of the species' defining characteristics.
The figure is posed in a calm resting stance that feels natural and appropriate for the animal. Its broad flippers and low body position help convey the walrus's immense weight and semi-aquatic lifestyle. Subtle paint shading enhances the folds and contours of the skin without appearing exaggerated, making the model suitable for realistic Arctic wildlife displays, educational use, or marine animal collections.
Walruses are large marine mammals that inhabit Arctic regions of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They are best known for their long ivory tusks, thick whiskers, and heavy bodies protected by a dense layer of blubber that helps them survive freezing conditions. Adult males can exceed 3,000 pounds in weight, making them among the largest pinnipeds in the world.
Walruses spend much of their time in shallow coastal waters where they feed primarily on clams and other bottom-dwelling invertebrates. Their sensitive whiskers, known as vibrissae, help them detect prey on the seafloor. They often gather in large groups on sea ice or rocky shorelines to rest between feeding trips. Tusks are used not only for defense and dominance displays but also to help pull their massive bodies onto ice surfaces.
